Sentado sobre aquel banquillo mirando como a través de un cristal mal acabado aquel impulso eléctrico mascullaba: "y sin embargo se mueve, se mueve", justo como Galileo Galilei cuando juraba que la tierra no era redonda ni se movía... y no sé por que no puedo, frente a aquel cuadro, dejar de imaginarme a Alvaro de Campos estallando en mil pedazos al tratar de atrapar todos los sentidos y las sensaciones de este mundo de mis tiempos... este mundo cuya forma, ante tantas formas, es un mero protocolo anticuado y reminiscente... de resoluciones y configuraciones tan diferentes, de conclusiones todas válidas y quien puede decir si justas, tendiendo de nuevo a aquella unidimensionalidad de la que Galileo despertó a sus contemporáneos... un grid 10x10 de sucesos sincrónicos e indiferentes replicados desde la más sencilla humanidad del capturista y el fotógrafo hasta la inmensidad del mundo tecnológico...

10x10™ ('ten by ten') is an interactive exploration of the words and pictures that define the time.

Every hour, 10x10 scans the RSS feeds of several leading international news sources, and performs an elaborate process of weighted linguistic analysis on the text contained in their top news stories. After this process, conclusions are automatically drawn about the hour's most important words. The top 100 words are chosen, along with 100 corresponding images, culled from the source news stories. At the end of each day, month, and year, 10x10 looks back through its archives to conclude the top 100 words for the given time period. In this way, a constantly evolving record of our world is formed, based on prominent world events, without any human input.
